Mbarara Kashari Mission 

Mbarara District with its Capital city Mbarara is located in West Uganda. The main East- West route and transit road from Kenya to Rwanda crossing Kampala (Central Uganda) leads through this area. Bwizibwera, a village in the rural sub district Kashari, is about 25 km north of Mbarara city. Bwizibwera means: good water.

Ankole  the region of longhorn cattle (Watusi) and therefore rich in milk.

The hilly area offers fertile farmland and enough grazing land for many herds of cattle. Fields and gardens produce a rich harvest of bananas, maize, millet, potatoes, beans, Yams, cassava, ground nuts, coffee and other crops. Large banana plantations supply the markets of the capital Kampala with their harvests, plantains for the traditional main meal matoke.

Rivers and swamps are rich in all kinds of fish, which is sold fresh from the road to passing motorists.
